...not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Fellowship is vital in the community of believers!
- We worship together to exalt the name of the Lord! (Psalm 95:6, Heb. 13:15).
- We share communion together to commemorate our Lord's sacrifice on the cross for our sins (1 Corinthians 11:26, 1 Corinthians 10:16).
- We study together to learn and be challenged in our faith (Romans 12:1-2).
- We evangelize and disciple for growth (Matt. 28:19-20).
- We share in everything for the expansion of the church and so that believers will be built up and grow in their faith (Acts 2).
- We exercise our Spiritual gifts in unity and in faith (Romans 12:6-8).
- All believers need accountability (Hebrews 10:25, Proverbs 11:14).
Be careful of those who claim, "It doesn't take all of that!"
YOU WILL NEVER GROW BEYOND YOUR FAITH!
