JESUS PAID IT ALL!

Do you feel like there's no purpose in life?
Do you feel something is missing but cannot explain it?
You are not here by accident. There is hope in purpose.
Jesus Christ is the Life-giver! He gives purpose!

Don't believe the lie that you have to get yourself together.

Humanity has missed the mark of God's perfection.
However, God is LOVE.
He sent Jesus to restore our broken fellowship with Him.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever, believeth in him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

SALVATION: What is it?

What is Salvation? John 3:16

  • Salvation is a gift from God.

  • It is for those who trust that Jesus is God's son.

  • It is for those who trust that Jesus died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose from the grave three days later.

Explanation: Why Salvation?

God desires to connect with His creation; however, sin separates Him from us. It is outside of his character. He desires a loving relationship with you, but the only way is through His Son, the mediator, the perfect One, who connects you to the Father. Jesus  Christ (anointed son of God)

John 14:6

What Must I Do to be Saved?

Realize that you will never measure up to

God's perfection. Romans 3:23

Acknowledge that you are a sinner.  (6:23)

Receive God's son, Jesus Christ, as your personal Savior. Acts 16:31

Explanation: Why Salvation?

God loves you so much, and He will do anything for you, but first, He gives you a choice to decide if you would like a personal relationship with Him. He never makes a person do what they don't want to do. However, He allows you to know Him through Jesus Christ, our Savior, and Lord.

Romans 8:6

Confession:

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)

Explanation: Why Salvation?

We cannot Please God if we do not have faith in the saving work of Jesus Christ. He says that without faith, it is impossible to please Him.

(Heb. 11:6)

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

2 Corinthians 1:20

How Can I Be Sure That I Am Saved?

HOLY SPIRIT

The minute you trusts Jesus with your life, you inherit God's Spirit.

In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Ephesians 1:13

HOLY SPIRIT

Jesus promised that he would not leave his disciples as orphans, but He would send God's Spirit to be with them forever!

And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever...the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him, but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

John 14:16-17

HOLY SPIRIT

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

John 14:26

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought but the Spirit himself interceds for us with groanigns too deep for words.

Romans 8:26

HOLY SPIRIT

I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine; therefore, I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

John 16:12-15

But God!

God is Love!

God's love is unconditional. It is like no other love. It is constant. God only desires His best for us. No one can replace it. He is understanding and sensitive to our needs. His love is perfect and pure. It is rich and tender. In His love, we are justified and sanctified; one day, we will be glorified. Amen!

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God.

1 John 3:1

God is Merciful!

Mercy is God withholding from us what we do deserve. We are undeserving of a continuous love relationship with God. We deserve eternal punishment, but God withdraws this punishment for those who trust in Christ as Savior and Lord. God does not condemn us. His wrath is not against us because Jesus paid a debt we could never repay.

There is, therefore, now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Rom. 8:1

God is Gracious!

Grace is God's undeserved favor to you! God continues to love you despite your sins. He gives you blessings beyond your capability and reason. He makes Himself known to all who trust Christ with their lives. He gives us heaven. Cheap grace is not trusting in God; it is wishful thinking. It is when one tries to deceive the God who created them in His image. God cannot be deceived!

For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is a gift from God. Ephesians 2:8

God is Just!

God's legal system cannot fail. "Scripture clarifies that sin has definite consequences, which must eventually come to pass, whether sooner or later." If Jesus, the perfect One, the sacrificial Lamb of God, doesn't pay for your sins, you will stand before the Righteous Judge and give account for your sins.

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom... 2 Timothy 4:1
